I have got the demo on one of the MSX-Fairs in Holland (several years ago,
when the Japanese MSXers visited Holland)... I have no problems starting the
demo on my MSX Turbo-R (FS-A1GT).

I get 16 free segments... Are you really sure you put the right version of
MSX-DOS on disk?
If you keep having problems I can make a diskimage of both disks and send
