I would like to announce that UZIX is dead.
No, it's not what you're thinking.
UZIX, in the way it's now, is dead.
I'm releasing UZIX source code (kernel, libraries and applications)
on UZIX site. The kernel source code is under GPL license.
What I mean with "dead"?
I mean that UZIX needs to get stronger and more powerful.
This UZIX, codename UZIX32k, is dead. Everything that could be made
with it was done (even graphical webbrowsing). Anything else can't be
made
(and well done) because there's no free space on kernel, or more memory
for
applications.
I'll start an enhanced version of UZIX, codename UZIX48k.
UZIX48k will break many limitations of UZIX32k. But I'll not
antecipate nothing.
Don't ask me when it will be ready neither when I'll release the first
beta. I don't know.
I hope you have fun with the sources of UZIX. And if you find a bug,
enhance anything or port UZIX to another machine, tell me. I really
wanna
know.
