Hi folks,

        According to this table/homepage:

http://www.epanorama.net/documents/pc/pc_graphics.html

The horizontal frequency of EGA is 21.85 Khz.

Do you know if the EGA monitor could be used as a CGA monitor ? If it
can synchronize at 15.75 Khz ?

Have you seen any like this ?

I know the pinout of the CGA is different of EGA, because we have 2
bits for EGA, but I am wondering if we could simply tie the 2 bits of
each colour together and thus have one bit for each colour. Then the
problem would be only the horizontal frequency.

        Thanks

        Werner Kai
