Well, I've just read all the story on http://www.msxnet.org/gtinter/what1ch.htm and my feelings are very confused.
The first question that comes to my mind is the following one : do we need really an official MSX emulator, as the unofficial emulators become still better and powerful ? Here's my personal TOP 10 of these emulators for PC : 1. NLMSX 2. fMSX-SDL 3. fMSXSO 4. fMSX-WINDOWS 2 5. ParaMSX 6. No$MSX 7. BRMSX 8. RuMSX 9. fMSXFAN 10. fMSX-DOS 1 The second question that comes to my mind is worse for the future of MSX : can we still trust the Nishi's projects about an MSX 3 or is this perspective only a trick to trap the MSX users in an controlled system ? If this a trick, then I'm very glad to have since one month a MSX Turbo-R. This is (and would be) the top of the MSX history ! If this isn't a trick, then Nishi should be, as Takamichi Suzukawa says on his page, the victim of his enemies in the business ! Conclusion : It's a very sad story !!!!
