I am aware of at least three different lines of SCSI controllers: - HSH / Gilvad /Gouda, all based on the WD3393 chip, most at ports #34. In principle all capable of running Novaxis
- MK /BERT /HPN, based upon the Fujitsu chip - MegaSCSI I will ask Hans Oranje what information he has on the Bert interface, hope to see him next weekend. -----Original Message----- From: Patriek Lesparre [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, November 20, 2001 05:32 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: New call for interest Adriano Camargo Rodrigues da Cunha wrote: >As you were the first guy to reply positively to my question, >you win a gift: a question! :) YAY! ;) > Do you have (or know anyone who has) documentation about the BERT > interface (I checked HansO, MSX2.COM, MSX Tech Doc Page and others and > didn't find anything)? Sorry, no documentation that I know of :( But as I said, hardware-wise it's the same as a MK interface, which IIRC in turn was the same as the HSH interface. HPN homepage is at: http://www.hansoranje.demon.nl/ In the products section the following PDF is found: http://www.hansoranje.demon.nl/downloads/bertscsi_sch.pdf It's a schematic of the BERT interface. It seems to be a bit lo-res but I'm not sure if a schematic will help anyway ^^; You can e-mail Hans Oranje at: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I'm sure he'd be willing to provide you with information.
