Pocket.ign put together a top-five of the most-wanted gba ports in their Letters section (http://pocket.ign.com/letters/2001-11-12.html).
And look what's on number one...: "1. Metal Gear. The original MSX games. Both of them. We need them so, so bad. Very few have played them in the US, few in Japan even remember the games, and they're in need of updating as it is. The GBA would be a great platform to bring them back on -- a console remake would feel cheapie compared to MGS2 and the original MGS (they could update the heck out of them, but that'd be a lot of work when what they really need to do is bring us the next "Metal Gear" chapter, whatever that may be.) The GBC game was so good. We're desperate for the originals, particularly now that the plot of Metal Gear has so many questions that we can't answer without them." I am also glad they mention MSX... Ofcourse the MSX versions are way superior over the NES versions, but too often NES is named as the 'mother system' of Metal Gear. ~Grauw __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
