Yes I think Spellbound was never released on the MSX. I had the C64 version of Spellbound (then bought a Spectrum +2 and got all four on that, then found Knight Tyme for the MSX in Woolworths 99p clearance bin (I couldn't believe an MSX game in Woolworths in 1990!!) so I bought it)
Here is a link I've found to all the Magic Knight games. http://members.tripod.com/Carlos_Helixx/penguin/ktyme.html Mine had a save game option - it was called the Multiface 128 and the +D disk drive (two of the best pieces of hardware I ever bought for the ZX Spectrum - Multiface 128 allowed you to mess around with memory and save the memory state to tape, disc or microdrive (also had Lifeguard to search for infinite lives cheats!)(the original Action Replay), +D the 3.5" disk drive & printer system for the Spectrum (with the unique "Snapshot" button which allowed you to save the memory to disc, save the screen to disc, or print the screen). The only problem with this was it meant playing the games on a Spectrum :( -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Maarten ter Huurne Sent: 24 December 2001 01:07 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Knight Time On Monday 24 December 2001 01:30, you wrote: > Spellbound - You had to release the wizard from a white out spell Was this one ever released for MSX? I have all the other ones, although Finders Keepers is on the original tape which didn't load very well 15 years ago, so I guess it can't run it from there even if I had enough patience... > Stormbringer - Can't remember! Magic Knight is split into a the player character and "off-white knight". The player has to re-unite both halves to become the full Magic Knight again. I really liked those games. However, the lack of save game option is a real problem. Fortunately most emulators have a save state option right now.
