*sigh* I don't like any of this. Don't forget Sunrise is a foundation. This means that *BY LAW* they are not allowed to make profit.
Also, the comparison is kind of flawd. First you say E 7,80 is the real price, but later you say it's E 10,82. I say if you compare prices, compare E 10,82 with Sunrise's Game Subscription price of E 12,50, because that's probably the most sold price. Then the difference is not E 6,95 but E 1,68. That's a world of difference, especially if you also take into consideration that Sunrise took a lower quantity, and that they had to replace some things, as Peter Burkhart said. As for the rest, yes, there's probably some profit in it. But again, since they are not allowed to keep the money, they invest it in visiting fairs and the development and production of hardware. Do you really think that's a bad thing? As for Sunrise not responding, well, that's a bad thing, I've heard that before. Anyways, I am very sad it has come to this. And I'm sorry Bart but I really don't think this is something to cheer about. I say it's all making trouble over little. It does not improve the MSX scene as it is. > Why not create an European MSX secured server that can offer MSX productions > of the European MSX community for the same price for all users? And what about the nice booklets? And the disk stickers? > Why not use the disk-image format (DSK) and the most populair compressor > (ZIP) in place of ARJ , LZH, PMA ... ? Why not use RAR? :) ~Grauw -- For info, see http://www.stack.nl/~wynke/MSX/listinfo.html
