Did you also count the amount of complain-mails and what the percentage
was? I guess not, or you wouldn't complain about the spam at all...

Spam comes in waves, haven't you noticed that?
A few weeks ago there were HUGE spam attacks throughout the world, the
amount of email going through my ISP's servers climbed from average 100.000
per hour to average 300.000. This is a 24-hour average, so you can't begin
to imagine how high the peak-values were.
Most spam does go away if you ignore it...
Again, I think complaints sent to the list are useless and far worse than
the actual spam. Not to add too much to that, this is the last thing I will
say about it.
