Hi,
We're running on GNU Mailman now and it seems to be working fine so far. I
really like its web interface, it's more convenient than the e-mail
administration of Majordomo. Mailman also has much more finegrained control
over the list.
>From now on only subscribed members can post to the list. If you want to post
from another address, notify me or Wynke and we can add that address to a
"white list" (Mailman supports this out-of-the-box :). I am sorry if this
causes inconvenience, but the spam made it necessary.
For list members there are a lot of new options to configure now. If you don't
reconfigure anything, the list will continue to work pretty much as it always
did. But if you for example like to receive digests instead of individual
messages, you can. Or you can disable messages for a while, for example if
you go on holiday and don't want to get MSX mail in the mean time but still
stay subscribed. You can get your initial password by using the "Email My
Password To Me" button.
Bye,
Maarten
