This is not much important for MSX users, but one of the neglected fact anyway.
It's has been received notion that PC88 and MSX2 versions of Snatcher, which were released almost at the same time, were almost identical, but in fact there are considerable differences. You realize it when you see "Metal Slave" logo right after PC88 version startup. One of the major differences is that in case of PC88, GAUDI informs bio data of Konami developer staffs if you type their name. This feature is also supported in later versions (Sega CD, PSX...), but the data in PC88 is much more private and harsher than those in later versions.;) If you try same thing with GAUDI in MSX2 version, GAUDI does not display anything. The keyword is supported, but no data is included in the game. I also heard; - Disk access time is much shorter with PC88 - MSX2 version has larger variation of music than PC88 Takamichi _______________________________________________ MSX mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Info page: http://lists.stack.nl/mailman/listinfo/msx
