Hi I'm Enrico from Italy and I'm new here! I'd like to inform you that in Italy there are about 4 meetings about retro computers. And of course, now there's also the Italian MSX user meeting in Brescia (this place is also easely reachable from Suisse and Germany).
So, in Vicenza Retrocomputing meeting, Maurizio (an Italian MSX user, member of MSXItalia ML http://groups.yahoo.com/group/msxitalia) has shown his MSX and other material, and this is a good thing against the many and many commodore lovers. Maurizio said that people was very bad when he showed a MSX-Music demo, his MSX was installed near an Amiga! Situation is: in Italy MSX is not dead, and each month there are people that want to buy MSX machines and ask infos about it. I'm doing my best to improve interest on MSX in Italy. I'm considered a "MSX hero" in the NG: it.comp.retrocomputing, and I'd like to thank Sander for his help! One more thing, I'm organizing by myself a retrocomputing meeting, I have some people that could give me exposition rooms for free! I say "retrocomputing" to create interest to other machines users, but MSX will have the greater room for exposition!!! And if this dream will be a reality, I'd like to have some of you here at the meeting as very special guests, to talk about MSX!!!
