Will it run without aswell? I hope so. The ST didn't have a MIDI device, if I remember correctly? And I heard the NLMSX emulator play music aswell, while I bet it doesn't support MIDI. Anyways listening to the MIDI music would ofcourse be cool aswell (hmmm I at least need to lend a turbo R sometime)... > Ofcourse it DOES use R800 speed, but playing it slowly isn't as bad as not > playing it at all :P 7MHz can (at least partially) fix that. And after all, Solid Snake wasn't that fast either (on 3.5Mhz), so I can make do with slow games aswell. Anyways, I really think in practically all cases the VDP is the limiting factor so no well-programmed game should need an R800, unless it's really exceptional and requires a lot of realtime fast math - which I think an RPG like IC doesn't... Ofcourse I haven't seen what cool effects IC pulls off, but erm... Well, I'll just see. Microcabin never impressed me programming-wise... Xak's speed was too slow, although Fray's was much better as far as that was concerned. In any case, no doubt the cool graphics, music, and atmosphere will make up for that a 200%. Heh, and btw, it's great that IC is being translated :). Now the wait for the English version... In the meantime I hope I'll be able to play it for a bit in Japanese by using my very very limited Japanese knowledge and the storyline which was published in MCCM. ~Grauw _______________________________________________ MSX mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Info page: http://lists.stack.nl/mailman/listinfo/msx
