Hi

It seems that the FDD of my Sanyo WAVY70 is dead (it spins but doesn't read anything).
I thought "oh yes, the FDD belt". But after opening it I saw that it doesn't have belt!
I cleaned the head (which was already clean) but that didn't solve the problem.
It's a TEAC FD-235F.

This company sells them:
http://www.gigabite.com/floppy.html
The price is 100 USD each unit. Not cheap ;)

I wonder if someone has ever adapt a PC 3,5 HD FDD in this computer. I'm not only referring to the FDD pin configuration that can be found in HansO MSX pages,
http://www.msxhans.msx2.com/drive.htm
also in how to adapt "physically" the unit in the computer (it doesn't seem so easy as in Philips NMS-8250/55/80 or Sony HB-F700 computers).

Greets
