I think you mean G.A.M.E.
GameBuilder was written by Adriaan van Doorn and released early '90.
I first saw it mentioned in MSX Club Magazine 27. ("The Castle", made
with GameBuilder) was released earlier with the 25th anniversary issue
of MSX Club Mag.)
G.A.M.E., written by Erik v Bilsen, appeared in MSX Club Magazine 38,
end '91 - almost 2 years later. A transscripted quote from the article:
"G.A.M.E is a game design program for MSX-1. Not a rebuilt version of
GameBuilder, but a new program, that also allows you to design music
and 'Fields' larger than 680 screens"
(Hm, crappy english, but hey, the dutch text wasn't brilliant
either ;-))
ANyway: whereas GameBuilder gave you a fixed game concept and 'only'
gave you freedom in level and graphics design, G.A.M.E. was basically
a collection of editors (characters, levels, sprites and music), but
left programming the actual game entirely up to the game designer
(that is: the person, not the program)

Not me :-/
