A couple of OUTI's is faster than OTIR's ^_^. Example: if you 'unroll' LDIR to a couple of LDI's you can do LDIR almost 25% faster. In general they're just easier to access and it seems to me that it's more practical in a windowing system since sometimes portions get partially hidden - the window renderer can then take care of that. ~Grauw --- Ushiko-san!
