Hehehe... "MSX hardware"? It's a nice hardware, but I don't think it was made to be plugged into MSX. (^=
It was made to put MSX rompacks in it. That simple fact already makes it MSX hardware.
In other words, it interfaces with MSX rompacks, therefor carries the MSX logo, therefor is MSX hardware.
And don't forget a USB ports for MSX are in development (by several parties, IIRC).
