Hi all,

I'm trying to compile a library which makes use of DirectShow and those
base classes for capturing video. After installing the win32api package
I do have the headers and libraries except for the base classes part,
and the libstrmbase that they compile to.

Googling around I can only find references on how to compile this using
some 2003 dated DirectX SDK, but nothing of the recent past.

Am I alone in this or is there a way to get that library built on a MSYS
/ MinGW environment? Using VisualStudio is not an option for me since I
need to stay away from linking with multiple C runtimes.

Any idea is welcome, thanks! :-)
