Hi,
I just tested a fresh msys (32 bit) install. I downloaded the base package,
unzipped it, did the 1st run, then restarted the shell and upgraded the
base packages. After this, I quit the msys2 shell, executed autorebase.bat
and upgraded the packages. But I always get this error the first time:
2 [main] pacman 2868 child_info_fork::abort:
C:\msys32\usr\bin\msys-crypto-1.0.0.dll: Loaded to different address:
parent(0x6FC10000) != child(0x62C00000)
error: could not fork a new process (Resource temporarily unavailable)
(8/8) upgrading mpfr [######################]
100%
1 [main] pacman 3272 child_info_fork::abort:
C:\msys32\usr\bin\msys-crypto-1.0.0.dll: Loaded to different address:
parent(0x6FC10000) != child(0x62C00000)
error: could not fork a new process (Resource temporarily unavailable)
Should I also run autorebasebase1st.bat? Doesn't seem to have any effect.
Maybe there is another package I should be upgrading together with the base?
I followed the instructions in the wiki:
http://sourceforge.net/p/msys2/wiki/MSYS2%20installation/
Thanks for any clarification,
