Nope.  I also make sure that no applications that where built with mingw
and include any mingw libraries are not in the path.  It just so
happened that path where I was working was inside my msys1 install.

Darn.  I guess I have to do this in Linux for the time being.  I'm sure
packaging latex will not be a trivial task.
