First of all, please, what would be to proper place to report a bug? I have
not been able to find any meaningful information on whether this should be
done on Github (under which project?), Sourceforge, or somewhere else.
There ought to be some clear documentation about this.
As for the bug itself, here is the description: in Windows 8.1 Pro x64,
once I have the MSYS2 terminal open, right-click it, and select “Pin this
program to the taskbar”, the MSYS2 icon is changed to the mintyy icon.
Please check the following bug report I opened for Cmder (a customized
ConEmu terminal for Windows), which has to do with the same issue.

Furthermore, it seems strange that a “MSYS2 Shell” entry is created in
Windows’ Start Menu/Screen with the cmd icon instead of the MSYS2 icon.
