Just for the record, trying to build from git source
(git://git.savannah.gnu.org/emacs.git), the "configure" fails:
[...]
checking for library containing inflateEnd... -lz
checking for dladdr... no
checking for dlfunc... no
configure: error: The following required libraries were not found:
gnutls
Maybe some development libraries/packages are missing?
If you don't want to link with them give
--with-gnutls=no
as options to configure
==> ERRORE: Si รจ verificato un errore in build().

It seems you have a problem with gnutls...
