I do appreciate the hard work you've put into msys git, but I have to go back to the fact that, a default installation should NEVER change my files (in this case by trying to automatically translate line endings)!
Please just disable it again, as it was before. As on every other platform we can run git on, if we want to enable autocrlf manually, it's easy enough to do. The assumption that windows developers will all want this on by default is unsupported, and I suspect, highly false. Thanks, Steve
