I don't know why, but suddenly it have started working (even without
installing the
new version).
I started to test the things you propose and the "curl..." line worked.
Then I check
where if $HOME/_netrc existed, and it was the _netrc I have already. By
the way, the
_netrc file have CRLF endings, but it worked ok (now I have it in LF
endings, just in
case).
When I checked "git clone" (from the command line and the GUI) they worked
flawlessly. Really, really strange.
Sorry for the false ticket. Consider this ticket fixed.
