I have a group of five developers that will be transitioning to git. All but one run Windows exclusively, and I run a mix of Linux and Windows.
I was wondering if there were any known issues having our master repo on a CIFS share. I don't know of any, but there is a vague statement in the git faq to the effect that it might not be a good idea. I thought that, if anyone would be likely to know, it'd be folks on this list.
