somewhat less than half, I'm afraid :-( The reason for all this angst is to allow developer workstations to be pulled from (so that any dev can pull from any other). After installing it, I had to run "ssh-host-config" and answer some questions, mostly "yes", (and it needed admin access) but that was all. Thanks again, Sitaram
