[msysGit] Error using git-svn with non standard ssh port

We use ssh on a non-standard port, so the command looked something
like:

git svn clone svn+ssh://<user>@<server>:<port>/path/to/repos

I got the error:

"ssh: connect to host <server>:<port> port 22: Bad file number"

any help would be much appreciated

git version: 1.5.5.1015.g9d258
