So this is my official retreat from msysGit; I might be working on
some issues I have myself, but I have many other projects that are
much more rewarding, if not money-wise, then at least in terms of
fun and contributions that come my way.
I am a bit sad for the three last people, who actually work on
msysGit as opposed to having lots of good ideas but not doing
anything. Rest assured that I will not forget what you
contributed, should you ever need my help.
This is really sad, and a huge loss to the msysgit community, and
Windows developers in general! I understand your feelings, and I'm
sorry to not have helped out enough in the directly msysgit related
areas. (Most of my focus is directed towards mainline Git these days;
trying to affect Git there, for the benefit of Windows developers;
like avoiding stat'ing for untracked files on commit/status and an
'inserve' feature, not unlike hg's.)
If there's anything I can do to re-spark your efforts in the msysgit
community, don't hesitate to let me know. Your input, if not coding
efforts, on msysgit is highly appreciated!
Again, thank you for all your efforts!
