I suspect that this is not an msysGit-specific issue, and therefore
this is the wrong
forum for it.
Further, an issue tracker is a lousy medium to transport patches,
however, Marius
suggested that we put the msysGit mailing list as the recipient of all issue
activity. So we may alleviate that shortcoming of the issue tracker _somewhat_.
Note: this comment was mainly a test if the notification to the mailing
list works.
