Your friendly bug summary report. I've tried to organize them from easiest to fix to hardest to fix, and the first seven should be verified and then closed as soon as possible.

Fixed (needs to marked as such):
105 - Problems with switching between branches on a case-insensitive filesystem.
109 - Custom ports with plink (PuTTY) broken
113 - Git on HTTP Basic Authentication repositories

WONTFIX issues:
83 - Random modified files after "git svn clone ..." (see my git-svn email)
103 - git svn rebase failed in Windows XP (dupe of 83)
111 - Important Compatibility Notice: confusing typo (IMO, it's not confusing at all) 121 - wish (git gui, gitk) does not find init.tcl when git is run through a junction

Has patch:
118 - git-gui does not run commit hooks

Verified issues:
27 - git-send-mail not working properly
96 - plink doesn't allow acceptance of new host keys - ui blocked
80 - git-clone fails when repo contains UTF-8 filepath (this one is tangly and will require a bit of compat code)
97 - Error changing commit message encoding (UPSTREAM?)
116 - Commits fail if the user name contains umlauts (actually, this is Git Gui doesn't handle UTF-8 properly, possible UPSTREAM) 120 - Can't locate object method "hash_and_insert_object" via package "Git" (works in 1.5.5)
122 - Resource temporarily unavailable on Windows Server 2008

Needs more eyes:
81 - Problems patching for git rebase / git am
106 - External diff failed
108 - GiT Bash reports Home directory does not exist (maybe drop unless someone else reports)

Feature requests:
29 - Change to another more user-friendly terminal
98 - .git directory cannot be hidden (hide .git nonrecursively option)
110 - Improve support for bare repositories
112 - Automatically run/exit ssh-agent in git-bash
115 - Git Gui access to .gitignore and other .* files
