To those of you who have followed CASL over the years, GM announced in public last week that: (a) The CASL pilot has been declared a total success by senior management, having met or exceeded its goals, and (b) GM is proceeding with the next, and final, implementation phase whereby all 300-400 service authors in North America will use the CASL controlled language checker, and French translations will be produced by machine translation + post-editing.
