EXCHANGE OF LEXICAL AND TERMINOLOGICAL RESOURCES IN MACHINE TRANSLATION (MT),COMPUTER-AIDED TRANSLATION (CAT) AND TERMINOLOGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (TMS)

A one-day workshop, concentrating on the standardization of lexicon exchange formats in MT and TM systems will be held at the University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Anhalt) on Friday, June 17, 2005 in Köthen. Among the issues to be discussed are the conception of terminological standards and representation of data in standardised formats such as OLIF, TBX, XLIFF und MILE, data categories used in MT lexicons and the import and export features of commercially available MT systems.
