Hi! I´m working now with the NIST Evaluation kit (I work with last version, 11b) and I have came across following problem:
When I work only with one reference translation, the program runs smoothly. However, now I tried with 4 different reference translations and, despite I have checked the document 1000 times, I always get the same error message: FATAL ERROR: no document ´Document_name´ for reference ´3´ My ref-file looks like this: ... <DOC docid="document_name" sysid="0"> <seg id ="1991">Source sentence</seg> </DOC> <DOC docid="document_name" sysid="1"> <seg id ="1991">Reference 1</seg> </DOC> <DOC docid="document_name" sysid="2"> <seg id ="1991">Reference 2</seg> </DOC> <DOC docid="document_name" sysid="5"> <seg id ="1991">Reference 5</seg> </DOC> <DOC docid="document_name" sysid="8"> <seg id ="1991">Reference 8</seg> </DOC> ... (with sysid I refer to the different reference translations. Does anybody know what the problem could be? Why does the message make reference to reference 3 if there is no such reference 3? Thanks!
