Call for Registration
New Approaches to Machine Translation
A METIS-II Workshop
January 11th 2007, Leuven (Belgium)
It's our pleasure to announce the programme of the METIS-II workshop "New
Approaches to Machine Translation", which will be hosted by the Centre for
Computational Linguistics at the Faculty of Arts of the Katholieke
Universiteit Leuven.
In the morning there will be a METIS-II session with presentations by the
METIS-II partners (ILSP - Athens, IAI - Saarbrücken, GLiCom - Barcelona and
CCL - Leuven). For the afternoon 5 other presentations on MT are selected.
At the end of the day, prof.dr. Harold Somers (Manchester) will give an
invited talk: "Latest Developments in (S)MT. MT Wars II: the empire
(linguistics) strikes back".

The registration fee is 50 euro, students will pay only 25 euro, when
registering via the web site before January 1st, 2007.
Late registration will still be possible, but at 60 euro (30 for students).
Payment is due in cash, at the registration office.
