Also, to clarify one question that was asked -- sites are not required to participate in both recognition and translation tasks. Sites can choose to participate in any task and segmentation condition pairings. Let us know if you have any questions. Best Regards, Audrey for NIST OpenHaRT team From: Tong, Audrey N. Sent: Friday, February 26, 2010 1:43 PM To: '[email protected]' Cc: '[email protected]' Subject: RE: Announcing NIST OpenHaRT'10 Evaluation Dear All, We would like to let you know a few updates since the evaluation announcement. · Locations of various forms listed in the evaluation plan: It has come to our attention that the URLs pointing to these various forms are incorrect. We updated the evaluation plan (v2.8) with the correct URLs. http://www.nist.gov/itl/iad/mig/upload/OpenHaRT2010_EvalPlan_v2-8.pdf · XML file format specifications package: It’s now available for download at http://www.nist.gov/itl/iad/mig/upload/MADCATDataFormatSpec_V6-tgz.txt This file is actually a tar compressed file (tgz) but I added “txt” extension so it could be uploaded to the NIST website. Be sure to change “-tgz.txt” to “.tgz” and untar/uncompress as normal. · Sample data: We received a request to provide sample data so potential participants to have a better understanding of the tasks involved. This sample is included in the file format specification. It contains input file for the three tasks and the corresponding references. · Data license agreement: The license is being finalized but should be available by March 4th. Let us know if you have any further questions. The deadline for registration is June 15th. We look forward to having your organization participate in the evaluation.
