Dear colleagues,
I hope you don't mind me asking those of you who are professional
translators to spend 15 minutes with the attached survey. If you know
someone who could take it, please pass it on.
Your help is much appreciated!
All the best,
Mikel L. Forcada

service surveyed, see Miquel Esplà, Felipe Sánchez-Martínez, & Mikel

FORWARDED MESSAGE:
Dear colleagues,
At the Transducens research group (Universitat d'Alacant, Spain) we are
developing methods to assist professional translators using
computer-aided translation tools based on translation memories. These
new methods aim at marking, in each translation unit matched in the
translation memory, the *target-language* words that have to be changed
or kept unedited to produce, from the candidate translation, an adequate
translation of the source segment being translated.
To gauge the opinion of professional translators on the usefulness of
such feature we have designed a survey that you can access at
http://transducens.dlsi.ua.es/people/fsanchez/survey.html; fulfilling
this survey would take no longer than 15 minutes.
We would be very grateful if you could help us in disseminating this
survey among professional translators, so please, forward this e-mail to
the professional translators you may know.
Thank you very much in advance.
With kind regards
--
