Dear MT users and developers,

While machine translation technology has been widely adopted, evaluation of
translation quality still remains a challenge.

In order to ensure best practices are understood and applied more widely,
we have prepared a survey to understand which approaches and tools are used
in industry and academia to evaluate the quality of machine translation
output.

Please respond by *Monday 19 November* using the link below to provide
information:

*(Takes between 5-15 minutes depending on the level of detail you provide)*

The results of the survey will be made publicly available. Reporting will
be at an aggregate level, ensuring anonymity.

We will provide a complimentary copy of the recent TAUS report "Advancing
Best Practices in MT Evaluation", July 2012 - which is currently only
available to members.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
