JoSTrans 19, on the theme of 'Machine translation and the working methods of translators' is out. This practice-oriented issue is guest edited by Louise Brunette, with the collaboration of Laurie Gerber and aims to explore how automatic translation is impacting translators' professional lives today. It reviews current translation practices discussing how translators in Britain, France, Canada, the US and Ireland experience and benefit from translation technology. Two interviews are also provided: Sylvain Caschelin, freelance respeaker, discusses live-subtitling techniques with Pablo Romero Fresco, while Roslyn Bottoni, editor at the European Commission, is interviewed by Lucile Desblache.
