Dear MT Community, We would like to let you know several updates concerning the OpenMT15 evaluation schedule. First, the registration deadline is extended to December 31, 2014. Second, the evaluation schedule is pushed back by three weeks to allow sites who also participate in the BOLT evaluation to have enough time to retrain their systems to the OpenMT requirements. And finally, the dry run period is expanded over a longer period to allow sites to perform the dry run whenever they are ready, up to one week before the official evaluation. In summary:
* December 31, 2014: Registration deadline * November 3, 2014 - January 31, 2015: Dry run period * February 2 - 6, 2015: Main evaluation period for audio track; output due at NIST February 6, 11:59am ET * February 9 - 13, 2015: Main evaluation period for text track; output due at NIST February 13, 11:59am ET * May 2015 (TBD): Workshop in the Washington DC area You can find more information regarding the evaluation on the OpenMT15 website http://www.nist.gov/itl/iad/mig/openmt15.cfm.
