DESCRIPTION SYSTRAN SA (Paris, France) is seeking to fill two full time positions for research engineers in Statistical Machine Translation. You will work on problems that bring scientific advances to the SYSTRAN products and enable users to experience the latest research achievements. SYSTRAN develops large-scale cutting-edge software applications in Machine Translation, Natural Language Processing (sentiment analysis, fact finding) as well as OCR technologies. REQUIREMENTS Candidates should have a (recent) Ph.D. in machine learning, natural language processing, or a related area, with interests in the following topics: Statistical and hybrid approaches to MT or other specific areas of Natural Language Processing Machine learning (neural networks/deep learning). We are looking for a open-minded persons, ideal candidates should: * have excellent communication skills, * enjoy working within an international and multidisciplinary team (linguists, engineers, researchers), * have hands-on programming experience: C/C++, script, etc. (Moses or other frameworks is a plus), * be fluent in English (foreign language is a plus).
