We invite applications for the new European Mundus Masters programme in 
Technology for Translation and Interpreting (EM TTI) with a start date of 
September 2020.

The invitation is open for both European and non-European students.

> Key information about this programme

  *   The first ever Master’s programme in Technology in Translation and 
Interpreting in the world, delivered by leading experts in Translation and 
Interpreting Technology
  *   The programme is specially designed for future translators and 
interpreters who would like to learn about the latest technology to support 
their work, as well as for future developers of translation and interpreting 
tools
  *    The programme has a strong industrial and user emphasis, and is 
underpinned by the latest research in the field
  *   The programme will provide a sound intellectual platform for graduates to 
progress onto doctorate level study and a career in the fields of Translation 
and Interpreting
  *   2-year Master’s programme (120 ECTS) with mobility in 2 universities
  *   Students are awarded a double degree at the end of 2 years
  *   You will spend your first year at one of the partner universities and 
your second year at a different institution. You will be able to choose any two 
universities from the strong consortium of the University of Wolverhampton, 
UK<https://www.wlv.ac.uk/> (the co-ordinator); University of Malaga, 
Spain<https://www.uma.es/?set_language=en>; and New Bulgarian University, 
Bulgaria<https://www.nbu.bg/en>.
  *   You will benefit greatly from two 1-month placements at associated 
partners<https://em-tti.eu/about-masters/associated-partners/> all across the 
globe, one each year, with at least one of the placement being at a company.



> Language of instruction

  *   English is the main language of instruction, but given the nature of the 
programme, knowledge of at least one additional language taught at the 
universities is required. For a full list of eligible foreign languages, please 
see our entry requirements.



> Funding alternatives

You may wish to consider alternative funding opportunities in order to secure 
your place on the EM TTI programme as a self-funding student.  For instance, 
many students are able to secure either full or partial scholarships from their 
home government or other non-governmental sponsors (e.g. companies, banks, etc).
