In addition to the conference presentations of competitively peer-reviewed regular, short, poster and demo papers reporting on the recent advances of a wide range of NLP topics, the RANLP conference features keynote speeches given by leading experts in the field. As from RANLP 2009, the papers accepted at RANLP and the associated workshops are included in the ACL Anthology. The RANLP proceedings are indexed by SCOPUS and DBLP. TOPICS: We invite papers reporting recent advances in all aspects of Natural Language Processing (NLP). We encourage contributions from a broad range of areas including, but not limited to, the following topics: phonetics, phonology, and morphology; syntax, semantics, discourse, pragmatics, dialogue, and lexicon; complexity; mathematical, statistical, machine learning and deep learning models; word and sentence representation; language resources and corpora; electronic dictionaries, terminologies and ontologies; linked data; POS tagging; parsing; semantic role labelling; word-sense disambiguation; multiword expressions; textual entailment; anaphora resolution; language generation; speech recognition; text-to-speech synthesis; multilingual NLP; machine translation, translation memory systems and computer-aided translation tools, text simplification and readability estimation; knowledge acquisition; information retrieval; text categorisation; information extraction; text summarisation; terminology extraction; question answering; opinion mining and sentiment analysis; fact checking; stance recognition; author profiling; dialogue systems; computer-aided language learning; NLP for biomedical texts and healthcare; NLP for the Semantic web; theoretical and application-orientated papers related to NLP. The reviewing process will be anonymous. Double submission is acceptable, but authors will be asked to declare it at the time of submission. Submissions will be reviewed by at least three members of the Programme Committee. Authors of accepted papers will receive guidelines regarding how to produce camera-ready versions of their papers for inclusion in the proceedings. The full conference proceedings will be uploaded on the ACL Anthology. Every accepted paper will have a DOI number. A printed version, whose estimated price will be between 45 and 50 euro, will be made available after the conference if ordered in advance. PRESENTATIONS IN ONLINE SESSIONS: We strongly encourage all presenters to have their presentations recorded in advance and sent to the conference Organisers prior to the event which will be a safeguard against any unforeseen technical glitches. At the same time, presenters will be given the option to present live if they prefer, or the option to have their recorded presentation broadcasted via the conference Zoom platform first with all attendees and speakers having joined, followed by a live question and answering session.
