We are excited to provide this important June Conference Update for AMTA
2022 regarding a submission deadline extension, registration details,
and the confirmed workshops and tutorials.
* DEADLINE EXTENSION *
To provide a little extra time to those who we know are working hard to
meet the Call for Papers deadline, we have extended it by one week to
Monday, June 13. This applies to the papers and presentations for all
three tracks: Research, Users & Providers, and Government.
* REGISTRATION FEES *
Conference Registration will open on Monday, June 13. To assist those
who need to start planning to attend now, we provide the following
details on early registration fees, which will be in effect until one
week before the conference.
In-Person event

AMTA Members (only those who paid the non-member fee at MT Summit 2021),
EAMT & AAMT members: $600

Non-members and those renewing AMTA membership: $700

1st 30 students (incl. membership) - sponsored by Microsoft: $50

All other students (incl. membership): $150

AMTA Members (only those who paid the non-member fee at MT Summit 2021),

Note: In-person attendees with accepted papers and presentations who
stay at the conference hotel will receive a 25% discount on their
registration fee.
The fees include attendance at all tutorials, workshops, keynote
addresses, and regular sessions. In-person fees at the venue in Orlando
also include the welcome reception, daily continental breakfast and
snacks during the main conference, and the conference banquet.
Non-member and membership renewal fees include a two-year AMTA
membership, which provides member discounts at MT Summit, EAMT, and AAMT
conferences as well as ongoing access to conference recordings.

* GENERAL INFORMATION *
AMTA 2022, the 15th biennial conference of the Association for Machine
Translation in the Americas will be held as a hybrid conference on 12-16
September 2022 at the Sheraton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort. AMTA
2022 will be the premiere Machine Translation conference in 2022,
providing engaging and productive networking opportunities for in-person
attendees, as well as virtual access for remote participants from around
the world.
