Subject: Something for the Weekend See the Forestry Commission
EXTREME Mountain Bike Team at tomorrows Bellingham Show North
Northumberland
Folks .
Looking for something to go and visit this weekend, then why not
pop along to Bellingham in Northumberland and visit the annual
show, which has many great attractions including the Utterly
Butterly Flying Wing Walking Display Team.
Also at the show the Forestry Commission EXTREME Mountain Bike
Display Team will perform together for the final time, as I depart
from looking after the team at the end of the show.
The team was put together as a one off for the Royal Highland Show
at Edinburgh 2004 and the team have since been on the road
performing in front of thousands of people at many venues across
Scotland and performing for Kielder Forest District at Chopwell and
Kielder Forest Festivals this summer.
The team will be hopefully be back on tour again next year in
Scotland, but tomorrow, could well (we hope not) be the final
display for this team, so if you are in the area, here's your
chance to see something extreme on a mountain bike!!!
The 3 bike riders Alan, Ben and Dave are from the Scottish Borders
town of Peebles who all have daytime jobs, have been thrilling
young and old with their skills on two wheels, balancing and
jumping over cars.
