Subject: [mtbne-l] That was the WNR that was

Sometimes a ride saves you - hauls you out of the mysterious, wacky
and despairing place you've sunk - courtesy of trivial physical
ailments and the missing of WNR's. Against all expectations you
clean the Northumberfest climb, the crags and the best part of the
trail from the road into the quarry in Cragside. Amazing stuff, a
chilled, but purposeful ride in which smoothness comes from somewhere
and accomplishments happen just where you don't expect they will. It
was fantastic. A ride can save you, nothing else can dispel the
horrible sense that you've lost the capacity to ride well or even get
your arse up onto the hill.
