I think this is a manifestation of the fact mu4e assumes that there's a
corresponding headers view for each message view (as discussed here
recently); mu4e tries to enforce this, but the org-mode support works
around it.

Fixing this will require a bit of rethinking on how to do this; ie., I'm
not going to do this for the next release (which I'll do when a few
final issues have been resolved).
