Well, you have the file system path to the original message; with that
you should be able to get to that header... maybe not as easy as you'd
wish, but it is possible.

It might even be possible to somewhat transparently integrate that with
mu4e-message, ie. add some function mu4e-message-get-header, which would
get the header from the source message.
