Since a few weeks ago (though I do not know exactly when) I have noticed
that whenever I do a reply I get
On Thu, 01-01-1970, at 01:00, ,,,,
These are the lines in my .emacs
(setq message-citation-line-format "On %a, %d-%m-%Y, at %R, %f wrote:")
(setq message-citation-line-function
'message-insert-formatted-citation-line)
This was reported sometime in the past

and I am not sure if it is related to

The problem seems to have (re-) appeared recently. I see it with the
version I pulled from github a couple of hours ago: 0.9.9.6pre3, but I do
not see with version 0.9.9-5, from the tar.gz.
