As you saw in the thread, dropping it in did work for me. The only difference between the file I'm using and the one from that thread, is that I uncommented line 108. I've attached the exact version I'm using for completeness.
Also, I have the following lines in my .bashrc: --8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8--- # for msmtpq export EMAIL_QUEUE_QUIET=t --8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8--- As an aside, there has been an msmtp release since that message, but as far as I could tell it did not include an updated version of the script. I emailed the msmtpq author, but never got a response. Josiah P.S. I sent this message while offline, so if you got it, this config is definitely working for me.
