This won't be fixed because it is not a bug, but a result of malicious usage. Telnet has declined ATCP support, so a normal server will not enable ATCP.
We are still using mecirt's telnet option parser that can't cope with malicious telnet signals. Rewriting this is unnecessary work atm because users will not play on buggy servers.
